Hello, Last weekend I did a reboot on my server running NagWin and now my Nagwin_Nagios service won't start anymore. The server is Windows 2008 x64 (not R2) When I run "Check Nagios Configuration" I get the following results: Check Nagios Configuration Tue 02/28/2012 09:32 AM Nagios Core 3.2.3 Copyright (c) 2009-2010 Nagios Core Development Team and Community Contributors Copyright (c) 1999-2009 Ethan Galstad Last Modified: 10-03-2010 License: GPL Website: http://www.nagios.org Reading configuration data... Answer:
Nagwin has no built-in support for SSL atm. Surely, nginx (web server used by Nagwin) has support for it, but It's not implemented. I will investigate this a little bit. Maybe, it is so simple as delivering a patch. That would be nice if you register it as a feature request at case tracker at www.itefix.net

Dear Tev,
I have created the templates and checked the AD data fields.
The templates had been created by Outlook 2010 itself (which uses Word 2010 as editor).

Hi,
We're having constant problems with one of our systems....
The error returned is:
sshd: PID 1452: error: reexec socketpair: No buffer space available
It appears to randomly happen.
Can you provide any help? We're using the latest update of the software.
Regards,
Chris

I am having issues getting domain authentication working with copssh 4.2.3 on Server 2008 64bit.
After installing and adding the user I am getting this is the event viewer Failed password for invalid user domain\\user. It seems that it is picking up two backslashes "\\" between the domain and the username.
Any ideas? Fresh install with no tweaks except for adding a local and domain user with the wizard.

Hi Support
Bodycote PLC is using adolsign with a corporate license. We have a user that has an apostrophized letter in her name Savić, but it is being displayed as Savic. Does adolsign have this functionality?

Hi,
I would like to upgrade CopSSH from version 1.4.5 to 3.0.2. I wish to ssh from a linux machine to this Windows machine. But I've encountered a problem.
I did an uninstallation of CopSSH version 1.4.5 by clicking on Control Panel -> Add / Remove Programs -> CopSSH (Remove only).

I registered today (2/1/12) and have changed my password. I am able to log in. When I attempt to download the GUI version of Cwrsync, I get a not authorized message.
Thank you.

Sometimes, on directories containing a mix of big and small files, rsync can suddenly slows down on big files. It can slow down up to 15kB/s, even on a LAN! It generally happens when --ignore-times is used. Thank you.

Hello,
When it comes to EFS encrypted files, cwrsync returns the following error:
"Permission denied (13)".
I understand that cwrsync can't access these files. However, I have 2 requests:
1) Is there a switch/patch to simply ignore these EFS encrypted files ? (without raising errors, and without having to manually exclude these files)
2) Is there a switch/patch, similar to "ROBOCOPY /EFSRAW", to be able to do a raw backup of these files ?
Thank you.

Platform windows xp
Simplest command I could try in the GUI, leading to a command line:
"C:\Program Files\cwRsync\bin\rsync.exe" "/cygdrive/C/drl/source" "drl@host:junk"
When I press test I get:
--------Testing----------
rsync: Failed to exec ssh: No such file or directory(2)

Just installed client package
Setting Transer->compress and compress level 9 produces the command line:
"C:\Program Files\cwRsync\bin\rsync.exe" --compress --compress-level="/cygdrive/C/drl/source" "drl@host:junk"
e.g. compression level value is not inserted.

I am in the process of trying to setup rsync between an Open-e box and your product, and keep getting the following error in your product.
2012/01/19 09:31:52 rsync: extended attributes are not supported on this server
I have tried the following config with no luck:
use chroot = true
strict modes = false
hosts allow = *
log file = rsyncd.log
UID = 0
GID = 0 -

Installed Copssh on the Windows 7 partition of a dual-boot PC. Other partition is XP.
SCP from IBM System i to server is failing. Having limited familiarity with Linux and SSH, I'm uncertain about the cause of the problem and the following client-side log entries. Also, the end of the log contains two unusual-looking entries.
Any help would be much appreciated. Let me know if any more information is needed.
Thank you.

Hello,
We are transfering files from Windows 2008 Server, that hosts files coming from Mac computers.
However, sometimes special characters prevent cwrsync from transfering files. We have to manually rename each of these files to get rid of special characters...
The log file says :
2012/01/13 20:25:17
file has vanished: "/d/Documents/my file .eml"
(I can upload a zip file containing such a file)

First of all, loved the 5.0 release
second: you introduced GUI to rsync but I think either I am dumb or I can find where I can set password for the remote server. from command line it asks for password but when you click Run after putting initial values in I am not asked for a password so that rsync session can be started.
any help will be appreciated
Cheers

I am having problems activating domain users for CopSSH (they don't show up in the Users tab of the Control Panel. After reading online that this is fixed in CopSSH, I notice that the CopSSH that came with the GitWin I just downloaded yesterday is 2.0.0, but the current version of CopSSH is 4.2.2!
Can you please update GitWin to use a more recent version of CopSSH, or just let me download and install CopSSH separately?
Thanks!
Installing under Windows Server 2008 R2, on a domain member server.

We have installed COPSSH on windows server 2008 r2 and have the following questions.
1. The SvcCOPSSH account that is used for installation of COPSSH, can it be a domain account or has to be a local account ?
2.To establish a trusted connection between a linux machine and the windows server on which copssh is installed, we are using a local account called "hpsshuser" which is activated on the copssh server. Can this windows account be a domain account versus being a local acount ?

When I run the following command locally from a command prompt on a server I get good results, but when I incorporate it into a check with Nagios I get nothing.
command = check_winprocess.exe --filter "imagename eq cmd.exe" --filter "windowtitle eq Administrator: 2) NITROSERVER64 UNDERLYING"
results = PROCESS OK - 1 process(es)|processes=1;;;
results from Nagios attempt see below
Status Information: PROCESS OK - 0 process(es)
Performance Data: processes=0;;;OS = Windows 2008 R2 64bit
