I have successfuly made Copssh work for my Windows 7 machine. I can access my Windows Shell. Here's the problem. I am going to run a Minecraft server on it. It's a video game, look it up on google. Anyways, it uses cmd/Windows shell to control it. No GUI. I am trying to launch the batch file, run.bat. It says syntax not correct. Here's now I run it.
I am using PuTTY for my client. And I configured Copssh to give my machine access to a Windows Shell. Any Ideas?
After many hours troubleshooting intermittent external commands working, I have discovered the underlying issue. When performance data is enabled and each service check executes, it executes rm -f /var/opt/nagios/rw/nagios.cmd.*. Although it seems harmless enough, it just so happens to remove the newly created external command from the CGI. If timing were perfect, the external command would be processed before rm executes, that is why it intermittently works. Disabling performance data isn't an option. Are there any other workarounds?

first of all, I would like to thank you for Nagwin and the whole array of plugins, awesome stuff. And I can't wait new feature releases...:)
Unfortunately, I have some problems with the Nginx server:
Everything works fine until the server starts giving 404s for any part of the app I try to access.
Logs during and before the problem are clean, and when I restart it, it works normally again. This all happened a couple of times already (~ once on a daily basis).

I want to do some monitoring work under windows desktop. for example: I have some my own applicaitons running on remote machine, but they would breakdown the machine, so I must monitor this machine, if cpu load,memory usage, so on , over a certain number, let's say "CPU load + memory usage>150" , I would shutdown this machine and start these applications on another machine with same configure.

I have a slight problem, I am trying to create a new signature for only a select few people (an AD group) but seeing as we have our main signature which applies to 'Domain Users', this is the one that gets applied as the default...
What i want is for my new signature to be applied only for a small group of people :)

I have recently installed nagwin and have managed to get it to monitor all my servers and send me email notifications. However, I just can't seem to get it to monitor my printers or my network switches. I have followed the help on the Nagios site, but it just brings my site down.
Any help would be greatfully received

Im new with nagwin and i have two questions:

There have got to be better docs for this.
I have been trying to get this to work for over 5 hours and I am still getting nowhere.
I could have written an xcopy script and moved on... Not good, if it is this difficult then better docs should be provided, 5 hours is a long to be in the same place I started.
I am trying to get Nagwin to email me notificattions of events, but, somehow it doesn't send or I dont receive it. I've edited the commands.cfg file and replaced it with my smtp server name. there were 2 lines to edit. I also ammended the contacts.cfg file putting in my email addr. Yet no notifications get to me. where could I be going wrong?

With Windows 2008 Server Web 32-bit, with UAC disabled, user Administrator, I'm getting "Access is denied" when running diskpart.exe over SSH from bash. (It works fine using cmd.exe in Windows)
I suscept it's because copssh is running as svccopssh and not really Administrator - is that how copssh works?:
$ whoami
host\svccopssh
$ id
uid=10500(Administrator) gid=10513(None) groups=10513(None),544(Administrators),545(Users)
Does anyone know of a workaround?

Done the following:
- Windows 2008 Server
- Installed CopSSH 4.1.0
- Activated 2 users in the control panel
- Opened Port 22 in the Firewall
- Login with Putty as DOMAIN\username
Result: Access denied.
We tinkered a little bit with the configuration file (AllowUsers All, ListenAddress added), but didn't help.

I'm new at Nagwin and would like to know which files are affected trying to monitor printers?
\ICW\etc\nagios\nagios.cfg - must be ammend?
\ICW\etc\nagios\nagwin\templates - ammend?
\ICW\etc\nagios\nagwin\localhost - ammed?
Must I create a printer.cfg file and where must this printer.cfg file / line be added?
I used Nagios with LAMP which worked excellent, now I'm working with WAMP.
Maybe a sample file will definitely assist me.

I'm using the latest sftp command line tool from the OpenSSHServer 3.0.2 package.
The problem is, it's not possible to create (valid) directories with german umlauts in the name (that can be used for rsync in a further step).

When using a rtf signature template, the --anchor mailto and the --anchor http conditional fields write HTML code to the document as text, therefore when opened in emails or text editor the following appears instead of a hyperlink.

I have CopSSH 4.1.0 installed on Windows Server 2003 machine that is not a domain controller.
I have added my domain account (DEVELOPMENT\oslheart) as a user and am able to ssh into the machine.
If I login thru Remote Desktop, and Start A UNIX Bash Shell, I can run the command "net user /domain". I have Domain Admins group privilege.
If I ssh to the machine and I run "net user /domain", then I get "System error 1326 has occurred. Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password."

What do I need to configure to show service statistics on the php4nagios graphs. Services such as CPU load, memory and disk usage for the monitored servers using a nrpe agent.
NOTE: I am using a Windows platform (Windows XP) to host Nagwin and the monitored server is also windows based.
Only Nagwin was installed since this is the only windows based installer i could find. I could not find a windows based php4nagios installer.

I've installed a fresh new 4.1.0 Copssh. Activate a user ( did it twice as he did not appeared at first time.)
Whenever I try to connect remotely or locally, the ssh client is stuck and the sshd is using 99% of cpu.
If I stop the opensshserver service, and run the ssh server in debug mode ( "c:\Program Files\ICW\bin\sshd.exe" -p 22 -d -e -D), I can connect without any problem )
As the sshd seems to fork improperly, I've ran the server in debug3 mode.
I ran the client in a Cygwin bash Shell: ssh -vvv user@rachel
It seems that the client is stuck during the Key exchange.
Server Log:

Is this possible? Fields in the additional signatures I have are not populated by adolsign. I am unable to add more than one --signature statement or add more than one signature after this statement.

I am trying to use Copssh 4.1.0 on Server 2003. Previously I was running an older version which worked fine.
The first problem I have is that the service doesn't start automatically, and when I press the big red button in the control panel, the control panel closes. When I try to start it manually, I get:
C:\>sc start opensshserver
[SC] StartService FAILED 1069:
The service did not start due to a logon failure.
