Will there be a x64 release for windows in the near future?

Well i just installed copssh 1.3.6 on my x64 w2k3 server. And it works fine. But i notice that starting up and shutting down takes a while longer, then before the installation. I didnt mention this big difference on my 32 bit platform server. So my question will there be a 64 bit version any soon?

AFAIK, It has been done some improvements in Cygwin code for better 64-bit support. What you can do is to test a recent snapshot from cygwin. Simply download a snapshot (cygwin1-*.dll.bz2), decompress and rename it as cygwin1.dll (take a backup copy of the original first).

NB! Please keep in mind that these snapshots are not being tested. They are just built successfully from the cygwin source. No more guarantees !!

ok thanks i'll try. But i dont notice any performance losses. Everything is just running as smooth as before. Only shutting down is taking a little bit longer. Starting up is the same again after 2nd reboot.
But ill play a little bit around with it, it is no production machine at this moment.
