Questions about COPSSH 4.2.0

We have installed COPSSH on windows server 2008 r2 and have the following questions.

1. The SvcCOPSSH account that is used for installation of COPSSH, can it be a domain account or has to be a local account ?

2.To establish a trusted connection between a linux machine and the windows server on which copssh is installed, we are using a local account called "hpsshuser" which is activated on the copssh server. Can this windows account be a domain account versus being a local acount ?

3. What kind of licensing requirements are applicable to us, if we have the COPSSH product installed on two windows 2008 r2 servers.

It can be a domain account

  1. It can be a domain account as well as a local one.
  2. Yes, no problem. You can activate domain users for access to Copssh server.
  3. Copssh installers are paid solutions for commercial installations. You have two hosts and the category 1 (1-5 hosts, $39) covers your installation. Free upgrades and support for one year are included in the price.

I have a domain account

I have a domain account activated but I am getting a "Permission Denied" error. I am initially trying a key board interactive method and so have not created a key pair and have not placed any key files in the home directory.

debug2: we did not send a packet, disable method
debug1: No more authentication methods to try.
Permission denied (keyboard-interactive).
