No public key in list after creating key pair

Just got PortForMe today, no issues installing or putting in license. Configured services and added a user. Problem: When I highlight the user in the Access Control tab, click on the "Keys" button, and then go through the multiple screens to create a key pair. The private key file is created, but there are no public keys shown in the Keys dialog box. Tried multiple times; tried closing and reopening the control panel. Same results.

What could I be doing wrong? The user to be entered is NOT supposed to be the user that runs the CopSSH service, right? -- It's just supposed to be a user (local machine user, there is no domain), right?

If it's not already obvious, I'm new to OpenSSH anywhere; I have installed and used Ubuntu, but I never even opened a config file, so I have no idea where to look (this is why I purchased your tool).

Thank you for you help. Please respond soon because I have to get a tested solution in place before a trip next week.

Edit: Paragraph formatting

What windows platform did you install PortForMe on ? Is UAC (User Access Control) on in the case it is Windows Vista/7 ?

Installed on Windows7 x32, UAC is at its default level. I got a UAC prompt when installing PortForMe (as is usual) and continued. Didn't get any other UAC prompts while operating.

Is there something special I have to do with regard to UAC?

In case it helps, here's the access control settings of the ICW folder (from cacls command); computer name is Blacktop:

C:\Program Files\ICW BUILTIN\Administrators:(OI)(CI)F
                     Blacktop\SvcCOPSSH:(OI)(CI)F
                     BUILTIN\Users:(OI)(CI)R
                     NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller:(ID)F
                     NT SERVICE\TrustedInstaller:(CI)(IO)(ID)F
                     NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:(ID)F
                     NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:(OI)(CI)(IO)(ID)F
                     BUILTIN\Administrators:(ID)F
                     BUILTIN\Administrators:(OI)(CI)(IO)(ID)F
                     BUILTIN\Users:(ID)R
                     BUILTIN\Users:(OI)(CI)(IO)(ID)(special access:)

                                                   GENERIC_READ
                                                   GENERIC_EXECUTE

                     CREATOR OWNER:(OI)(CI)(IO)(ID)F

Copssh used by PortForMe is not UAC aware atm. Se a related thread for more information. Try to run both installer and Control Panel as administrator (right click and run as administrator). You may also try to turn off UAC if the former recommendation didn't help.
