Permissions on Windows server on which run rsync server

I'm using cwRsyncServer 3.0.1 on Windows 2008 server because I'd like to synchronize my NAS (Netgear) to this server (backup copy).

I installed rsync server with default accounts settings

I find out copied files into Windows server cannot be deleted!

If I look at a file security:

everyone: read, read and run

SvcCWRSYNC: change, read and run, read, write

none: read, read and run

If I look at folder permissions which cotains the file which is shown above, I can see nothing!

everyone:

SvcCWRSYNC:

none:

I cannot delete neither files nor folders which are synchroinized on my Windows server.

What do you think?

You run a quite old version

You run a quite old version running via Cygwin 1.5. You need to make sure that env. variable CYGWIN=NONTSEC applies for your installation.

I already set this variable

I already set this variable CYGWIN=NONTSEC but nothing, restarting service of course.

What version do you suggest me?

Have you used -Prepare a

Have you used -Prepare a directory for Upload- wizard from start menu ? That wizard will make sure that the directory behind uploading will populate with correct permissions. We don't provide a free edition of cwRsyncServer any longer. Have a look at https://www.itefix.net/content/get-cwrsync for our options.
