I just downloaded the free version of cwRsync. The zip file has these files in it:
- README.cwrsync.txt
- README.rsync.txt
- cwrsync.cmd
- cygcrypto-1.0.0.dll
- cyggcc_s-1.dll
- cygiconv-2.dll
- cygssp-0.dll
- cygwin1.dll
- cygz.dll
- rsync.exe
- rsync.html
- rsyncd.conf.html
- ssh-keygen.exe
- ssh.exe
So my question is, where is the installer? I understand from the Installation/Usage page that there should be a Nullsoft installer named cwRsync_5.3.0_Installer.exe included in the zip file.
Thanks
cwRsync Free Edition is a zip archive, not an installer.
More info about the free edition is here. Differences between the product and the free edition is here. Installers are now only available via the product edition.
OK, that's what it looked like. Is there a way to install it as a service in Windows 7, like the old installer would do?
