Is it mandatory to create a AD user for every cwrsync account ?

All is in the title ... I was just wondering if there was another way to create users than are not tied to an AD (in Copssh Control Panel) ?

Thanks for your help !

You can also use local

You can also use local Windows accounts. Anyway, you need a windows account.

But because my machine

But because my machine (windows 2012 server) is in a domain, there is no local account, therefore I need to create each time a domain account. I wasn't sure, so I preferred asking.

Solution B would be to remove my server from the domain... I'll think about it.

Thanks for your reply !

As long as your server is not

As long as your server is not a domain controller, you can create local accounts on it even if it is a domain member.
