Current version of the

Current version of the Control Panel accepts public keys with comment field only. Please make sure that your public key has a comment field.

Public key part is appended to /home-directory/.ssh/authorized_keys file. Make sure that you run the Control Panel as admin (right click and run as admin) if UAC is enabled.

Hi itefix,

Hi itefix,

Thank you for your response. I always run the control panel as admin. The problem is when the system gets reboot than i have to put the key again. The key gets swipe out some how. I wanted to know if there is a way to make key permanent so I don't have to do it every time the system gets rebooted.

Thanks

No keys should vanish. When you run the Keys wizard, you specify where the private key will be located. Running Control Panel as admin is not same as running with privilege elevation (right click ...)
