Where is the RsyncService and the User SvcCWRSync in WindowsServer2012?

Where is the RsyncService and the User SvcCWRSync in WindowsServer2012?

I install cwRsync-Server v4.0.5 on a WindowsServer2012 - Machine and there is no Service Rsync and no local User SvcCWRSync.

The machine is only a simple servermachine and will be later a DomainController.

Why is there no Ser4vice and no local User? What can i do to install cwRsync correct?

Did you install the client rather than the server?

As many times on other

As many times on other Servers with OS Win2003, Win2008, Win2008R2 i download and install the cwRsyncServer_4.0.5_Installer.zip.

The difference: it´s my first Windows Server 2012

Run installer as an admin (right click -> Run as administrator)

I tried all variants seperat

I tried all variants seperat and in combination:

- run as ADMINISTRATOR

- set compatibility mode = Windows 7 / Windows Visat / Win XP

- set permissions as Administrator

 

It takes no effekt: after installlation there is no local user SvcCWRsync and no service RSYNC in the list of services :-((
