What is the procedure to migrate users from COPSSH install on Windows 2003 server to new Windows 2008 server?

Hello,

We are upgrading our server environment and will be installing COPSSH 4.2.3 on new Windows 2008 server.  The existing installation, which is on COPSSH 4.1 users need to be migrated from the old server.

We are unsure of the proper procedure to do this.  Our thoughts were to:

 1. Install COPSSH 4.2.3 on the new Windows 2008 server.

 2. Migrate the ..\ICW\HOME directory from 2003 server to 2008 server.

 3. Copy the passwd and group files from the 2003 server to the 2008 server.

This procedure does not seem to work.  Does anyone have suggestions or actions they have taken to accomplish this?
