cwRsync v2 ssh access control

Hi
I'm moving from a v1.3 copssh / cwrsync installation - how do I enable a user account's ssh access using the v2 rsync / ssh bundle?

Re: cwRsync v2 ssh access control

Sorry - dumb question; i found the activate-user.sh script on a 1.3 installation, which does the job.

Re: cwRsync v2 ssh access control

I was going to suggest the same. cwRsync server v2 is designed to make secure rsync transfers and activates service account automatically. I thought that would be enough :-)
I will add activation/deactivation scripts to the next release.

Re: cwRsync v2 ssh access control

Is there documentation on how to get the ssh daemon to work? It installed and the service is started but no password is good enough for it. I tried to ssh to SvcwRsync@myhost but I am only guessing if this is right. I tried to ssh to Administrator@myhost but the same thing happens. When using the -vv option with my ssh client I get this:
Permission denied, please try again.

Thanks,
David

There is no well-written documentation yet :-) You can change service account password and try to login with the service account. The main design goal with cwRsync Server w/openssh is to secure rsync transfers, not to ssh-login to an other machine. I recommend copSSH for that purpose.
