Hello, Anyone aware if there is an issue with copssh 1.3.5? It works fine until you reboot. Copssh will not work after you reboot unless you start/restart copssh service.
If copSSH is not able to start, you will then see some error messages in the event log. What platform do you run copSSH on? Your problem might also be related to some anti-virus software or firewall software.
After clearing out the event log and reboot the laptop. I got the following in the app event log. Also disabled virusscan. PID 1660: 'copSSHD' service started PID 200: Server listening on 0.0.0.0 port 22 PID 200: error: fork: Resource temporary unavailable
Then I stop and restart the Openssh SSHD service and everything works fine
PID 1660: 'copSSHD' service stopped PID 3376: Server listening on 0.0.0.0 port 22 PID 3328: 'copSSHD" service started
I'm running WindowsXP w/SP2. Running firewall with exception. The only other firewall is on the wireless router and configured to forward port 22. What am I doing wrong?
Had a similar problem with 1.3.6 as well. Turned out adding registry entry HKLM\Software\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin\heap_chunk_in_mb as a REG_DWORD set to 2048 (decimal) and rebooting seems to have corrected the problem. If you're still having the problem, you might give it a shot.
oops. I messed up. I didn't have the firewall exception set up correctly in Tiny Firewall. Once I fixed it, the service started right up! Phew. EXCELLENT piece of software. Thank you!!

Hi, I tried the above registry setting but no luck. I'm running Windows 2000 workstation with sp4. Thanks.
